THE DSPCA Yesterday we went to the DSPCA and learned about all the cats and dogs that weren’t wanted or just abandoned by their owners (actually some of them were even badly mistreated!).
We met a lady called Miriam and she told us about unwanted pets and how to treat them. She spoke about her own three dogs, one of which she described as being a killer, even though she was tiny!
After that we went to a cattery. It turns out that cats like classical music, because when we went in all the cats were half sleeping and the soft classical music was playing.
Then we went to the dog shelter and I especially liked a black Labrador named Duke.
I was happy to see all those dogs and cats were in good hands.
